Manage a book of new business cases and work them from an informal status to a placed status at the carrier. • Underwriting and reviewing cases internally that were approved OTAF, to see if the the offers are fair or other carriers may be a better fit. Looking at cases medically and financially based on information obtained during case underwriting. • Handle large cases within the account that meet a certain face or premium amount. • Work closely with insurance agents on their business and clients- when a case is approved other than applied for, then work to see if we may have a better fit for their clients with another carrier, or work with the current carrier to see if we can improve the offer. • Work with our internal sales managers and underwriters to shop informal cases for clients that have more unique situations in underwriting due to medical or financial issues.
