Oversee HS & E issues for the Highway Division, Industrial Division, and Shops and Yards Division. Create worksite assessments to determine risks, potential hazards and controls, evaluate risks and hazard control measures, investigate incidents and establish a root cause through an analysis process, maintain and evaluate incident and loss records, and prepare emergency response plans. Develop policies and procedures. Update policies and procedures if needed. Conduct daily safety meetings/stand downs and tool box talks. Train/coach and conduct orientations for new and current employees pertaining to mitigation and abatement tactics and any training needs necessary for certain job site requirements stipulated by the client. Audit job sites and evaluate JSA\'s and FSA\'s. Maintain and track company compliance issues if they should arise such as the new Hazcom/GHS systems, but not limited to such. Responsible for responding to OSHA compliance issue(s) if in question and mitigate subject promptly. Prove positively the matter has been abated and awareness has been established company wide. Rep. for case management processes and follow up procedures with employee and company director.
