She was also an on camera reporter for the BET program \"Future Wave\" hosted by Herbie Hancock and she has contributed writing to numerous publications including Essence Magazine. She has contributed liner notes for several jazz recordings and has written biographies and various promotional material for jazz artists on Blue Note Records, Columbia Records, Verve Records and elsewhere.
