About Monica Cox
I am currently a full time mom of two teenagers. In my spare time, I work at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. I am the Unit Program Coordinator for the 355th Comptroller Squadron and Wing Staff Agency. In 2022, I retired from the Air Force. My final position was with the Joint Staff as an Executive Assistant and Senior Enlisted Leader to the Deputy Director for Nuclear and Homeland Defense Operations in the Pentagon. Over the 22 years I served in the military, I became experienced in a myriad of administrative skill sets including program management, executive support, professional editing, records management, FOIA and Privacy Act, office management, various aspects of human resources, quality assurance, mission assurance, and customer support services.
