ABOUT MONICA POHLMANN
I believe that collaborative intelligence is a key tool for accelerating community and organizational resilience. With more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, sustainable community development, and environmental policy, I enjoy working with people from diverse groups—government, business, and nonprofits—to address challenging issues. In particular, I am motivated by the aim to build the social infrastructure of sustainability—that is, the collective capacity to gain insights into complex challenges and discover new solutions that can be co-created and co-implemented. Previously, I ran my own sustainability and strategy consultancy, where I specialized in facilitation and process design, strategic planning, collaborative social innovation, and collaborative networks—all with the goal of connecting people and ideas to new possibilities to thrive. I also have a decade of experience in local government as an urban planner and senior policy advisor.
