ABOUT MONICA KESSLER
With my roots in design and over 35 years experience as a creative director and communications strategist, I bring unique perspective to the tools and techniques of translating strategic concepts into tangible outcomes. Always looking to connect the dots and ensure our work is contextually anchored to meet immediate objectives, I keep an eye on the broader opportunities at play with a goal of solid and resilient solutions that stand the test of time. As an executive with Ove, I have grown with the firm since joining as a designer in 1985. Leading teams and the business through decades of evolution is a great source of pride, and I have had the honour to serve as branding and communications advisor to many of Canada’s leading corporations, including Loblaw Companies Limited, Weston, HBc and Canada Post. In 2017, I led the brand refresh of CBC’s The National. Most notably, I have helped to shape the branding and communications initiatives of BMO Financial Group in Canada, the United States and beyond for more than three decades, helping them to earn awards of excellence for corporate reporting since 1992.
