Executive Director of the Chicago Cultural Alliance (CCA), a consortium of over 40 Chicago-area cultural heritage museums, institutes, and historical societies representing over 30 different cultures in 23 Chicago neighborhoods and 11 suburbs. 33% of CCA membership is based in Chicago’s underserved South and West sides. 67% of the cultural communities served by the CCA are ALAANA (African, Latino/e/x, Asian, Arab, and Native American).The CCA furthers its mission of celebrating diversity, preserving history, and creating connections between Chicago’s cultural institutions through a variety of programs and support services. Signature programs include the annual Activating Heritage conference, World Dumpling Fest, the month-long Journey Chicago series of cross-cultural events throughout the city, and a Conservation & Collections program.
