ABOUT MONICA RAZIQ

In my current role as Associate Director at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, I lead North America Medical Affairs Excellence and have played a key role in the preparation and execution of four product launches. With over 8 years of experience, I bring deep expertise across core Medical Affairs functions, including congress strategy and planning, medical education strategy, scientific communication, oversight of the MRC process, and the development of impactful, innovative content. I currently manage a team of three, fostering a high-performance environment focused on collaboration, professional growth, and excellence in execution. I have a proven track record of streamlining processes, creating and updating SOPs, and developing standards that enhance departmental efficiency, drive organizational effectiveness, and generate cost savings. Previously at Takeda, as a Senior Manager and Manager within Global Congresses, Medical Education & Outreach, I honed my skills in cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and external engagement strategy. Earlier in my career at CVS Health as a Pharmacy Manager, I built strong collaboration skills with healthcare professionals, enhanced patient engagement, and effectively managed teams to achieve operational excellence. My broad experience across oncology, rare diseases, and neuroscience — including contributions to seven product launches — uniquely positions me as a strategic leader with a strong focus on driving excellence in medical affairs, scientific engagement, and patient care.
