WORK HISTORY
Delivery Coach @Network Rail
Bristol, GB
As Delivery Coach for the L3 Engineering scheme, I am the first customer point of contact for apprentices and managers in the area, I act as a subject matter-expert on the scheme to answer any apprenticeship program queries and a safeguarding reference point, identifying, raising, and acting on any concerns that come to my attention. I engage proactively with the Apprentices to monitor their progress, report on it, and act on deadline for submissions and assure they follow the funding agency, and the government policy. I monitor their progress actively engaging with our external scheme provider for an update and meeting them and their Line Managers in our regular 12 weeks Progress review meetings as well as the informal catch ups. After the meetings, I evaluate their work, identify areas to improve and provide them with a bespoke plan and targets, for the next weeks/months. The plan is aligned to the course targets and focused to maximise their engagement and their efforts on completing their NVQ work, taking into consideration their discipline, limitations and any other factors that could have an impact on them and their ability to complete it. In addition, I liaise and influence different stakeholders as HR, Administrative team, NVQ’s assessor, to monitor that all requirements of the apprentice journey are on place. I promote equality, diversity and inclusion and the Network Rail behaviours across the place of work leading by example, with a positive and constructive way of work that has an impact on their inspiration, motivation, productivity, and overall performance.
