ABOUT MONICA PANIGRAHY

Hi there! I\'m Monica, a graduate student in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago, expecting to graduate in August 2024. I love all things mathematics and statistics, and this has led me to explore professional avenues in Data Science and Quantitative Research, where I developed skills in data processing and analysis, model building, and machine learning in Python. Moreover, 1.5 years of internships has also greatly improved my interpersonal and teamwork skills in a professional context. Through my experiences in energy trading at Tesla and systematic factor investing at PGGM, I have also become familiar with electricity markets, equities, and the principles of factor investing and portfolio management, and would like to continue in the fields of trading and portfolio management. I\'m currently looking for internships and fulltime roles in Quantitative Research starting in summer 2024, with a strong emphasis on statistical/econometric modelling, and machine learning. You can reach me at m••••••••@uchicago.edu.
