SCIENTIFIC LEADER: TRANSLATIONAL BIOMARKERS & CMC ANALYTICSWith over 20 years of in-depth experience in proteomics, analytical chemistry and mass spectrometry, I have successfully advanced analytical platforms at various stages of drug development, from target discovery to preclinical to clinical and commercialization. As the Senior Director of Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics at Gritstone bio, I led a proteogenomic and AI/ML driven mass spectrometry-based platform and coached a team enabling the discovery and development of novel immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases. I have extensive analytical development experience supporting CMC regulatory filings in both early-stage development (screening drug candidates and derisking molecular liabilities) and late-stage development (process qualification, methods validation and transfer). My background spans protein chemistry, proteomics, clinical biomarkers, and large molecule drug development which includes managing multi-disciplinary teams handling a broad range of biomolecule analytics.
