I am currently working with a team of three other University of Delaware engineering students on our senior design project: developing an intervertebral disc surrogate model paired with a curve-fitting software to mimic and analyze the viscoelastic behavior of both healthy and injured discs. My primary responsibility is leading the materials research and selection process, where I evaluate, compare, and present candidate materials to my teammates and project sponsor to determine the best fit for achieving accurate biomechanical performance.
