1. Human Factors Engineer

   Collaborated with Product Managers and Designers to map out yearly Human Factors research activities for the My Intuitive App, where we found what surgeons valued most and what needed improvement in the app, which drove decisions in the project’s roadmap- Led research activities related to the user experience of the My Intuitive app, including 8 formative studies with over 60 medical personnel, 1 heuristic evaluation, expert reviews on 50+ mobile app screens, secondary research and desktop research, which resulted in higher customer satisfaction and more surgeons registered for the app- Convinced management to change the project scope away from a feature that users didn’t value to those they did by collecting the evidence and presenting it via compelling storytelling- Performed the first 2 remote studies with 18 surgeons in Europe and Japan for My Intuitive app to ensure cultural alignment before our broad launch working directly with legal to create and formalize the process that would become the standard for the Human Factors team moving forward- Helped build the next iteration of a UX scorecard my team developed based on integrated learnings from my research on metrics to measure the level of satisfaction and ease of use our digital products deliver to our users.
