My primary task as a legal secretary is providing clerical support to the law firm\'s attorneys. I file legal documents with the Los Angeles County Dependency Court at the attorney\'s direction and ensure the submission and retrieval of documents for each case. ABOUT MONICA FERRER
During my professional journey, I have worked in several fields, including Legal, Aerospace, Construction, and Home Health Care. I have acquired new skills and expertise, which have greatly enhanced my professional capabilities. Currently, I am a Legal Secretary with a public defense firm that represents parents in juvenile dependency court. Previously, I was the Executive Assistant supporting the Chief Executive Officer in the fast-paced construction industry. In addition, for seven years, I worked for the Superior Court of CA, County of Kern, as a Judicial Courtroom Assistant in the Criminal and Traffic departments. My primary role was assisting the judicial officers and ensuring effective courtroom operations. I began my career with the courts as a Court Services Specialist and worked in all the departments: Traffic, Criminal, Revenue Recovery, Civil, Small Claims, and Family Law.
