About Monica Casanova
Having grown up with an autoimmune disease, I’m all too familiar with the limitations and frustrations of the healthcare system. My journey in healthcare started as the founder of SafeSpace, a peer-to-peer mental wellness online chat platform. I then worked in utilities financial planning, nonprofit data analysis, health software implementation with payers, and digital health consulting to develop a well-rounded skill set that would enable me to tackle the inefficiencies and affordability issues permeating our health systems.
