ABOUT MONIA V.
I am a Director within the International Transfer Pricing team at DLA Piper. I am detail-oriented and I have strong technical skills on economic and financial analysis, valuation and modelling. I advise clients on intangible assets and legal entity valuations, designing operating models and developing profitability and tax impact models. My area of focus includes intra-group financing for M&A and real estate deals, and I have extensive experience in setting up and defending financing policies. I assist clients on controversy management, filing and negotiating APA applications and renewals, as well as MAP requests, in several European countries. Furthermore, I am involved in audit defence strategies and exit tax analysis for multinationals in different industries. I have lectured on transfer pricing topics at Lausanne University and International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation. I have also provided online and in-person trainings to tax authorities in Tanzania and Uganda. Further, I have held transfer pricing training sessions for clients at internal and external seminars and conferences. Driven by a great passion for data and analysis, I am looking forward to further pursue my career in transfer pricing and connect to the wider tax strategies.
