I\'m the manager of the Core Infrastructure Team at OpenTable. We\'re responsible for the datacenters and cloud presence for the company\'s infrastructure. I am key to capacity planning, budgeting, and compliance in all efforts in those areas and several related services. I lead my team through transformational changes in technology, overall strategy, and new opportunities. I collaborate with OpenTable teammates to influence overall strategy, and work with Booking Holdings partners to support Opentable\'s growth. I have extensive knowledge regarding hypervisors, operating systems, networking, etc. I have a knack for thinking of how to grow infrastructure to scale with stability and resiliency at the forefront. We write a fair amount of custom code to help us with automation for management of the infrastructure, including provisioning tools, load balancing, and metrics collection, amongst several other things. Hypervisors add a layer of complexity, and we\'ve done a ton of research to understand them and help us manage them more effectively.
