Redevelopment and Extension of existing paper mill at shotten mill, weighbridge Deeside Wales. The 85. hectare site is set to introduce at cardboard paper machine (PM3) and a tissue paper machine (TM1), with project value of about £1.5b pounds, Anel Engineering fully in charge of the mechanical, Electrical and plumbing works.• Daily Inspections and prepare technical reports and recommendations • Reviewed method statements and prepared risk assessments/JHA to mitigate all identified risks associated with work • Maintained positive relationships with regulatory authorities, staying updated about changes in legislation ensuring the company’s ongoing compliance and managing all EHS-related aspects of business continuity management. • Investigated and reported on all accidents and incidents including near misses, introducing preventive measures to prevent recurrence. • Prepared HSE weekly and monthly EHS statistics reports (as required) and proposed HSE improvement strategies. • Advised on all matters of health and safety for the guidance of the employer and the workers. • Inspected the workplace and work equipment regularly to ensure that standards were being met and suggested improvement. • Established appropriate fire and emergency rescue procedures and conducted periodic emergency drills on the project. • Oversaw and supervised subcontractors’ HSE team. • Confirmed there were safety messages in each Incident Action plan.
