About Monami Chatterjee

Monami Chatterjee is an independent researcher working at the intersections of Queer Studies and Queer Theory, digital media, visual cultures, oral narratives, and migration. They hold an MA in English Literature from the University of Calcutta (2023) and are currently a Cohort Member at the One Future Fellowship, receiving training in social justice praxis, community-building, and advocacy. They are developing an archive on Queer Migration focused on documenting lived narratives through ethical archival practices. Monami has presented research at national and international conferences and has one academic publication. Professionally, they work as an Editor at Yocket and have previously served as a Researcher with The 1947 Partition Archive and the India Foundation for Arts.
