In addition to practicing law, I have written many plays, 2 romantic comedy screenplays, an action adventure and an original sci-fi TV pilot, and several short stories. Some of my plays have been produced and published. Two short stories have been published, as has a feature article in California Lawyer on breaking the glass ceiling. I was a member of Fierce Backbone Theater Company from 2008 until 2016, and recently rejoined. I have studied play writing with Lisa Soland, Leon Martell, and Jean Claude van Italie, among others.

ABOUT MONA DEUTSCH MILLER
I just retired from the practice of law, so I can write full time! I write plays, screenplays, short stories and other work. My 10-minute play, Sardines, about homelessness, is included in Lawrence Harbison\'s anthology,\"Best Ten Minute Plays of 2020.\" Two of my short stories have been published, in American Writers Review, available on Amazon. I am a produced and published playwright, and write in multiple genres.
