Stopping failure and deterioration of multi-million dollar assets by automating early detection of issues with computer vision-based AI. Using Images captured by quadcopters, lidar and panorama cameras to localise MV-detected asset integrity issues into a 3D space using point clouds. Building Azure ML pipelines and web apps to process large batches of images (and other data) asynchronously. Azure Queues and Azure Functions are also used. Supervising and aiding external companies in building the next version of the product. Working with a diverse range of engineers, data scientists, remote inspectors and vendors from around the world. Providing ongoing support to non-technical members of the wider team and helping grow the technical talent by onboarding and mentoring new members.
