Senior nonprofit, documentary, and narrative change leader with 25+ years of experience driving organizational strategy, fundraising, and cross-sector partnerships at the intersection of independent non-fiction film, journalism, and civic engagement. Known as a trusted intermediary connecting filmmakers, funders, and movement partners, and for helping seed and lead regional and national collectives, coalitions, and field-wide initiatives.Over the course of a career at Working Films that began in 2001 as the organization’s first full-time staff member, helped build the organization’s national engagement model from the ground up and contributed to defining the field of documentary impact before the role was formally named. Designed early film-driven organizing campaigns, facilitation models, and partnership strategies that are now widely adopted across the documentary impact ecosystem.
