I am the Executive Director for Everywoman Biennial (formerly The Whitney Houston Biennial).The Every Woman Biennial is committed to creating not only an exhibition, but a new consciousness in the world of art which favors encouragement, connection, inspiration and ground breaking ideas. The first and only of its kind in the world, the Every Woman Biennial debuted in 2014 with 86 artists as a single day event, and grew to a two-week event featuring 195 artists in 2017. In 2019 the biennial expanded from New York to include Los Angeles. In 2021 in the midst of COVID, we produced (in conjunction with Super Chief NFT Gallery) the first all women and non-binary gallery art show. We added London to our roster of cities in 2021 and produced our first international salon style show complete with performances and film. Part festival, laboratory, and organizing platform, the Biennial is a soothing balm to the contemporary art world. The general framework of the exhibit consists of visual artists shown in salon style including but not limited to: painting, photography, installation, sculpture, video art, textile, multimedia, performance, dance, musical acts, poetry readings, theater presentations, and a film festival.2017 +5K physical visitors to the exhibition in New York City. Through press and web impressions our exhibition reaches over +20 million viewers.

What was once called The Whitney Houston Biennial, now the Every Woman Biennial, debuted in 2014 with 86 artists as a single-day event, and grew to a two-week event featuring 195 artists in 2017. In 2019 we expanded to include Los Angeles. Our two-city, 2019 exhibition included a week-long film festival and additional exhibition programming. In 2021, our NYC biennial went digital and we produced the first all-female/nonbinary in-gallery NFT art show with over 400 artists in collaboration with Super Chief NFT Gallery in NYC. We also jumped the pond and took our signature salon-style event to London. The EWB is a salon-style art exhibition, including live performances, poetry readings, and a film festival. We estimate over 10K physical visitors to the exhibitions in New York City. Through press and web impressions our exhibition reaches over +20 million viewers. The EWB is an opportunity for artists to cross-pollinate across a wide variety of mediums, generations, as well as racial and ethnic backgrounds.
