Overall job purpose is to manage Students’ Union projects, programmes and campaigns, working with colleagues to ensure that they deliver officer manifestos and the organisation’s strategic objectives.Key responsibilities include- Lead the development and delivery of a programme of training sessions that equip elected representatives and student groups with the skills needed to campaign and influence effectively for change- Manage the timely production of quality applications for new project funding, e.g. from the University’s Innovation Fund, ensuring that project plans, outputs and budgets are deliverable within the timeframes set and that final evaluative reports are completed- Key contribution to Governance Regeneration Project- Effective line management of the Warwick Graduate Intern & Campaigns Coordinator, enabling them to excel against their individual objectives, and ensure that all project and campaign budgets are well managed- In conjunction with the Membership Director and other directors, collate key organisational data for reporting purposes including key performance indicators, progress reporting on strategic objectives and actions from organisational member research- Work with the Communications and Marketing Director to develop a year round communications strategy for projects and campaigns, ensuring that they are effectively publicised to members and other stakeholders - Ensure the effective provision of guidance, support and relevant resources, e.g. briefing documents, press release templates, and social media communication plans for officers and student groups to enable them to implement their campaign ideas- Undertake consultation and research to identify, capture and translate the student voice into new and effective projects and campaigns- Ensure that all campaign activity is carried out in accordance with charity law, data protection legislation and other relevant regulations.
