As the Leadership Training Manager, I develop and implement leadership programs to ensure there are effective leaders for the future of agriculture. My responsibilities include- Managing and directing ongoing curriculum for the Ag Leadership Institute and other leadership training experiences for Farm Bureau volunteers in Iowa- Strengthening the county Farm Bureaus through training and coaching for staff, boards, and volunteers on leadership and organizational development to carry out programs that serve members- Managing the IFBF Young Farmer Committee and Program, including overseeing the Young Farmer Conference, facilitating Young Farmer Advisory Committee meetings, managing young farmer awards and young farmer social media platforms- Assisting with professional development coordination and delivery for Federation staff - Other leadership and professional development responsibilities as neededIn this role, I have the opportunity to combine my passions of agriculture, professional development, and service to others.
