About Molly Maves

I am a third-year student at the University of Washington, pursuing a double major in Law, Societies, and Justice, and Education Studies, with a minor in Business Administration. As a passionate advocate for justice, I am deeply interested in both legal work and education, and I am committed to leveraging my skills to positively impact individuals and communities. Currently, I am gaining valuable hands-on experience as a Legal Assistant at Davis Law Group in Seattle. Since joining in April 2024, I have taken on a variety of administrative responsibilities, honing my organizational, communication, and time-management skills. This role has provided me with valuable experience in managing case files, writing client and insurance communication documents, coordinating schedules, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm. It has also allowed me to gain insight into the practical aspects of law and its direct effect on people’s lives.In addition to my legal work, I have had extensive experience working and volunteering with children, which has further fueled my dedication to creating systems that promote their well-being. As our world continues to evolve rapidly, I am passionate about developing innovative solutions that support children and their development in a shifting landscape. I bring strong communication, writing, and public speaking skills, along with a natural ability to solve problems and think critically. These strengths, combined with my enthusiasm for learning, allow me to effectively advocate for clients and present complex issues in a clear, compelling way. I am committed to further developing my skills in both legal and educational contexts and am eager to contribute meaningfully to these fields. I look forward to connecting with others who share my passion for justice and making a positive impact in our communities. Together, we can explore opportunities to create lasting change.
