Provide management support to technical committees and key subject area initiatives (environmental and consumer product areas)• Drive technical committees towards new standards development activities in emerging areas and facilitate strategic planning initiatives with key government agencies, trade associations and other industry stakeholders • Develop and promote a consumer strategy to support consumer engagement in the standards development process through outreach and engagement with consumer groups, and by participating in the ANSI Consumer Interest Forum (CIF)• Manage US Technical Advisory Groups within ISO for global standardization activities while promoting alignment and harmonization across standards• Seek out and implement business development and training opportunities for the Society and its committees in areas such as advanced manufacturing, consumer products and environmental risk assessment• Develop and implement strategies to increase the acceptance and use of ASTM standards, products, and services through panel presentations, identifying and outreach to new stakeholders, correspondence to international bodies to promote the use of ASTM standards, and in trainings to ASTM members• Create communications plans to effectively message updates on current standards activities through press releases, social media campaigns, published industry magazine articles and more • Acquire thorough understanding of the regulatory arena, particularly in the consumer products and environmental industries, to help support and drive standards development to address regulatory needs• Manage and facilitate metric teams to research and develop recommendations to the Board for improving and growing the membership benefits experience, new business initiatives and service offerings within the organization• Serve as the Co-Form and Style Coordinator for the Committee on Standards (COS)(internal committee)
