About Molly Laegeler

What has kept me in the energy business for 25 years is the ability to address some of the most complex challenges whether it was optimizing deepwater oil production, developing acceptable fiscal terms between two countries, or making hard portfolio decisions. The common thread throughout my career has been the importance of innovation. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by technology and learning the latest trends. Technology and innovation are key to delivering the energy the world needs today while developing the energy system of the future. What keeps me energized is getting to work with some of the brightest people in the industry to advance solutions. We cannot do this alone. It will take all of us working together across the public and private sector to develop solutions. Energy is essential to modern life. We need it to power hospitals, heat our homes, cook for ourselves and our families, and get to work. I could not be more excited to work for a company that is at the forefront of using technology to help provide lower carbon solutions that power the world forward.
