Hi, I’m Molly McCabe, a licensed Physician Assistant working in Charlotte, NC. I recently graduated with my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and have begun my professional journey in hospital medicine.My clinical and academic training provided me with hands-on experience across a range of specialties, including emergency medicine, primary care, internal medicine, critical care, and palliative care. These rotations solidified my passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through strong communication, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.I’m especially drawn to fast-paced, team-oriented environments where I can continue to grow as a clinician while making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.    As a certified Physician Assistant on the Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine team at Atrium Health, I provide care to patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. In collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the broader care team, I help manage a range of acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep-related breathing disorders.My responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, interpreting diagnostic imaging and pulmonary function tests, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education tailored to individual needs. In the hospital setting, I assist in evaluating consults and managing complex respiratory cases.
