The firm is consistently recognized by the media and business community for its professional excellence.•Monthly bank reconciliations – both trust and general;•Review and reconcile unposted trust transactions and posting errors with the Trust team on a daily basis;•Post journal entries related to general bank reconciliations;•Regular review of general ledger accounts to detect and correct errors;•Prepare and post month-end adjusting journal entries;•Reconcile intercompany account;•Assist with preparation of weekly cashflow reports;•Assist with printing of month-end balancing reports;•Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements;•Assist with preparation of year-end working papers for the annual audit;•Assist with preparation of the annual Law Society Trust Report•Assist with preparation of annual financial budgets;•Assist with report requests from Lawyers and support staff;•Assist with developing internal controls and updating current financial processes;•Assist with organizing monthly accounting team meetings;•Assist with vacation coverage of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions;•On occasion, assist with coverage in other accounting areas;•Work on special projects assigned by the firm Controller;
