ABOUT MOJI SHAND

Moji Z.Shand is an attorney at law with over twenty years of litigation and management experience. Moji received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles in 1998 and began her legal career as a criminal defense lawyer in Los Angeles, California. In Moji joined Parker Stanbury, LLP, a mid-size AV rated downtown law firm where she served as the senior supervising attorney for more than 10 years. Moji was introduced to the Drinks & Whisky industry in 2006, and in 2012, she decided to leave the conventional practice of law to join Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky as the Director and the legal counsel of the company. In addition to joining Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, Moji set up a new company, Shand Import LLC, based in Los Angeles county, California, where its main focus is importing high quality craft spirits, which includes those produced by Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky, along with Valt Vodka, Gilt Gin, Vila Lobos Tequila, Raiz Oaxaca Mezcal, Indian Summer Gin, House of Elrick Gin, Shetland Gin, Storywood Tequila, Philbert Cognac and more. All of which are multi award winning products, produced by small producers around the world.
