   Lead Northwestern Mutual’s impact investing strategies in support of its Sustained Action for Racial Equity (SARE) strategy in Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin. Accountable for the company’s Enterprise Sustainability and Impact (ESI) strategy with a particular emphasis and focus upon socially responsible investment-related activities. Manage the Northwestern Mutual Black Founder Accelerator program and maintaining alignment to Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures’ $20MM allocations to underrepresented founders. Both programs are designed to create greater access to capital for underrepresented entrepreneurs and connectivity to the venture capital ecosystem.* Build-out NM’s local impact investment strategy, including creation and measurement of impact metrics.* Actively represent the company in the community to identify, source, plan and implement impact investment projects and understand local and national risks and opportunities.* Lead and coordinate due diligence activities related to current and potential future investments to assess feasibility, risk, and opportunity.* Manage the NM Impact Investing Committee and develop a healthy pipeline of real estate, small business, and venture deals.
