ABOUT MOIZ MAHESAR
I am a graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin studying Economics and doing a specialisation in Energy, especially decarbonisation and energy markets, with a strong background of over 3 years in Finance, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship. I am skilled in financial modelling, econometric analysis, statistical and probability models, micro and macroeconomics along with strong knowledge of energy technology and public policy. I have previously worked at Bloomberg in their London office where I was an equity specialist, developing business for the company with Financial Institutions by our Financial Technology offerings. During my undergraduate I worked as a pro-Bono Consulting Director at 180 Degrees Consulting with 5 teams reporting to me on various projects, ranging from health-tech to ed-tech. My latest experience was working in the Agricultural industry in Pakistan, the largest sector of the economy, leasing a sizeable farm to grow and trade commodities. This involved building a growth model around B2B sales, market research, vendor relations, supply chain, cash flow economics, and unit economics per crop.
