ABOUT MOISÉS M.

With over eight years of experience in multimodal local and international projects, I am a Team Manager for Project and Programme Management in the Engineering and Design Service at Warwickshire County Council. I am a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), a member of the Transport Planning Society (TPS) and the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transport (CIHT), and I have the credentials and competencies to deliver sustainable, economic, and social benefits for communities and stakeholders.I make decisions based on evidence and strategies, prioritising the main objectives to achieve the desired outcomes and optimising resources. I have led the development and evaluation of vision-led transport schemes, such as the Bath Street project in Leamington Spa, which will transform the road space to prioritise pedestrian movements and sustainable transport modes. I have also designed and implemented the Evidence Led Decision Making for Tackling Climate Change project, using AI monitoring and coordinated real-time surveying to analyse vehicular and pedestrian movements across the county. I have a comprehensive people-oriented approach to city and transport planning, and I engage with projects to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and critical analytical skills. I enjoy working with and leading teams, sharing my knowledge and learning from others. I am passionate about learning from other cultures and how things are done differently. I have travelled to several countries and participated in international projects, such as the National Transportation Master Plan of Belize for the Inter-American Development Bank. I like to take the best ideas from different contexts and apply them to bring innovative solutions to my work. I am always committed to challenging projects that will encourage me to develop my career and make a positive impact.
