I currently work in the Network Operations Center (NOC), theNOC is staffed with Senior Engineers instead of Operators- Checkpoint Firewall support and Network Security- CipherTrust e-mail gateways- Neoteris SSL Gateway support and setup- Administration of Secure ID tokens, Remote access administration including both dial-up and VPN client access- Evaluated business need for wireless access and deployed Moffitt’s original wireless network- I personally implemented much of Moffitt’s original network infrastructure, to include switches, routers, and access points- Purchased and implemented two SNA servers- Migrated Moffitt’s SNA resources to the LAN-When I arrived at Moffitt they were building parallel SNA and Token Ring networks, I combined the resources and converted to Ethernet- Deployed a parabolic dish, wireless bridge, and a Cisco router to expand network access to a remote site using wireless technology- Administered Moffitt’s first AIX systems- Microsoft server and AD administration.
