   As a Distinguished Engineer and Scientist (DEST) at Apple, I lead an elite research and engineering team focused on the research, incubation, and delivery of foundational AIML technologies that cut across organizational boundaries. My work spans out-of-distribution detection and diagnosis, distributional drift, uncertainty and error estimation for vision models, predictive AI models for autonomy, and algorithms for continuous on-device ML monitoring, diagnosis, and model selection, as well as end-to-end evaluation and replay of ML-based systems in pre-production.These capabilities underpin and have shipped across multiple Apple products, including Siri, on-device Keyboard, the iTunes Store, Vision Pro, and several next-generation hardware form factors currently in incubation.
