Dr. Moises Auron is an academic Med-Peds hospitalist at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He is a Full Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Auron is the past chair of Cleveland Clinic Board of Governors Physican Advisory Council (2025), and President emeritus of the Medical Staff, Cleveland Clinic.He is a Senator at the CWRU Faculty Senate, representing the SOM. He is a member of the CAP at CCLCM.He was the Quality Improvement Officer of the Cleveland Clinic DHM Main campus 20••••24 and is the Medical Director of Blood Management at Cleveland Clinic since September 2018. He was a Core Faculty of the Internal Medicine residency 20••••22; is a Core Faculty of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship since 2018.He is involved in the Cleveland Clinic Center for Executive Coaching and Mentoring as an Advanced Peer Coach and Mentor and he is a Board Certified Coach (BCC). He is the recipient of the Cleveland Clinic 2019 Mentor of the Year, and 2020 Susan J Rehm Inspiration Award. He is strongly involved in national societies. He is the current Governor for the ACP Ohio chapter. In 2021 was the recipient of the \"Evelyn V. Hess, MD, MACP\" Master Teacher Award of the Ohio Chapter of ACP.He is a former member of the American Board of Pediatrics, Subboard of Pediatrics Hospital Medicine (Jan 2022 to Dec 2025).Dr. Auron is an Associate Editor of the Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine, Oxford Medical Case Reports Journal and PLOS ONE; he is an Assistant Editor of the Brown Journal of Hospital Medicine. He sits in several international editorial committees. He actively peer reviews for more than 20 journals as well as for abstracts and workshops for multiple national meetings (ACP, SHM, SGIM, AAP, PHM, etc.).He is a former member of the SPAQI Annual meeting scientific committee and the Society of Hospital Medicine Annual Conference Committee. He is currently the Vice Chair of the Education Committee of ACP, and is a member of the 2028 Annual Meeting Scientific Committee.
