About Moira M.
I am currently a senior at Virginia Tech studying both Public Health in the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and Communications in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. I am pursuing my BSPH with specific interest in advocacy within nutrition, maternal and child health, and mental health. With a BA in Communications, I plan on using my passion and understanding of creative media, branding, analytics, and writing to evaluate, share, and develop projects effectively. Collaboratively, I aim to use my degrees within the prevalent intersection of healthcare and the media. I am an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated student that works well independently as well as collectively with others. As a member of the Sports Medicine Club and Undergraduate Public Health Association at Virginia Tech, and with experience abroad, I am increasing my involvement in the public health field through volunteering and advocacy.
