Over the years, I’ve built my career around capital projects, internal controls, and enterprise risk — working across sectors like infrastructure, land ports, airports, real estate, and roads. My work has primarily focused on improving how large, complex projects are managed — from tightening cost controls and budget discipline to strengthening internal project governance.I’ve had the opportunity to lead multi-functional teams and be at the center of planning exercises, project look-ahead scheduling, financial control implementation, and risk-focused decision-making. While I’ve spent significant time within internal project controls and assurance, my role has often gone beyond that — helping organizations adapt to digital transformation, roll out new policies, and embed long-term process improvements on the ground.Earlier, I was part of the capital projects consulting team at one of the world’s leading advisory firms. There, I led project assurance and audit assignments for high-value clients in sectors like renewable energy, oil & gas, utilities, and infrastructure — often working directly with CXOs and project leadership to identify weak spots and drive corrective action.Currently, I’m working with Deloitte as a Manager in the Controls Assurance function, where I lead engagements focused on large-scale capital projects. My role involves evaluating risk and control maturity, advising on governance frameworks, and helping clients set up systems that support transparency, accountability, and long-term delivery assurance.Prior to this, I also handled enterprise risk management at a corporate level — identifying cross-functional risks, running RCA sessions, using surveys to surface blind spots, and aligning key risks with the business strategy and growth roadmap for the upcoming year.In short, I thrive at the intersection of project delivery, governance, and strategic risk — with a clear focus on enabling better decisions, stronger controls, and smarter outcomes.
