ABOUT MOHSIN ALI

Mohsin Ali is a Senior Engineer with over 23 years of progressive experience delivering complex transportation and infrastructure projects across Canada, the UAE, and internationally. His expertise spans the planning and design of major rural freeways, urban arterial corridors, interchanges, intersections, roundabouts, and internal road networks for large-scale residential and tourism developments.He has successfully led the redesign of road networks and infrastructure improvements that optimized safety and functionality while achieving significant cost savings, including US $1.05 million on a 220-hectare development project.In his leadership roles, Mohsin oversees all stages of project delivery—from proposal development and concept planning to detailed design and construction support. He excels at managing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with stakeholders and utility agencies, and balancing cost, safety, and environmental considerations to deliver optimized design solutions. His responsibilities have included design review and approvals, construction staging and traffic management planning, utility conflict resolution, preparation of contract drawings and documentation, and providing technical guidance to construction teams.Mohsin is well-versed in international design standards and guidelines, including TAC’s Geometric Design Guide for Canadian Roads, MTO’s design supplements and roadside manuals, AASHTO standards, the Dubai Geometric Design Manual, and the Abu Dhabi Roadway Design Manual. His extensive technical knowledge, combined with strong leadership and project management capabilities, enables him to consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative transportation design solutions.
