As the Analysis Group Lead at ASML, I head the simulation and modeling efforts for the EUV source—one of the most complex and critical subsystems in next-generation lithography. My team specializes in CFD, FEA, RayTrace and thermal analysis, providing high-fidelity insights into multiphysics behavior such as plasma-gas interaction,heating, material deformation, and flow dynamics within extreme operating conditions. We integrate simulation with AI/ML tools—including deep learning surrogates, shape optimization, and generative models—to accelerate design iteration and improve overall system robustness. By tightly coupling analysis with experimental validation, we ensure our models guide engineering decisions that directly impact performance, yield, and reliability of the EUV Source.I also lead strategic initiatives in talent development, cross-functional alignment, and advancing our analytical capabilities to meet future EUV scaling challenges.
