As a Material Services Support Representative (MSSR), I am responsible for analyzing contractual requirements related to Materiel delivery, providing the means to fulfil them and ensuring its completion on time, on cost and on quality (OTOCOQ).I support Medium and Light aircraft i.e. C295 services contracts. My duties include, but are not limited to: • Deciding the means and resources needed (Work load plan) to perform assigned work packages.• Coordinating operations (Spares and repairs deliveries, transport, logistics, warehouse operations. • Translating requirements into operational activities and targets, communicating them to all stakeholders and ensuring compliance • Establishing and updating the Materiel Support plan for each contract to comply with external contractual requirements, but also internal ones, such as milestones and process definition and execution (main milestones are Entry into Service, Initial Provisioning List Delivery dates, warehouse Set-up, personnel training, IT system readiness etc.• Establishing optimal budget to carry out activities as well as monitoring cost performance. • Harmonizing Work packages and standardizing ways of working.• Review FISS (Full In Service Support) and FD (Free Demand) contracts performance.Furthermore, I prepare the Materiel Support Management Plan & PBL (Performance Based Logistics) plan, which summarizes all activities to be performed within the next ten years by all Centre of Competences (CoCs) among Materiel Services. CoCs then prepare workload needs, which is translated into budget to prepare financial exercises.
