About Mohit Mall
Currently i am working in the Group Capital Planning & Stress Testing team where we forecast Capital plans and see that the minimum regulatory capital requirements are being met with maximum capital efficiency. The plans are used by senior stakeholders for various crucial decisions such as meeting funding requirements, deciding on share buy back quantum, payments of dividends etc. We also prepare capital plans simulating multiple stress scenarios and analyze the results and subsequent corrective actions.Previously I have also worked with the Group Consolidation team in Liquidity Risk Reporting and Cash Management activities of HSBC Holdings. I prepared various regulatory reports, such as PRA LCR, AMM, NSFR, PRA110, for the UK regulator, and also created MI\'s for senior management to enhance their understanding of the group liquidity. I have successfully delivered on multiple projects, such as the implementation of the new PRA110 reporting framework, the automation of the liquidity reporting process, and the streamlining of the data quality checks.Before joining HSBC, I was a Senior Consultant at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, and an Articled Assistant at Grant Thornton India LLP, where I gained valuable experience in assurance, financial analysis, accounting, and auditing. I worked on various statutory audit engagements, ranging from year-end audits, limited reviews, tax audits, and agreed upon procedures, for clients from different industries, such as manufacturing, FMCGs, consumer and services, adopting different financial reporting frameworks, such as IGAAP, INDAS, and US GAAP.
