ABOUT MOHIT KUMAR
I’m a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and operations leader specializing in composites manufacturing (FRP & dual-laminate piping/tank systems). Over the last 8+ years, I’ve advanced from technician to manager to continuous improvement leader by taking on multiple capital projects, KPI/BPI systems, compliance programs, and workforce development initiatives. At RPS, I’ve built and rolled out MES and KPI dashboards that improved reporting accuracy, reduced downtime, and strengthened audit readiness. I’ve managed compliance programs, including the Dangerous Goods Licence and WHMIS training, while also leading regional projects and cross-site initiatives that align with corporate goals in safety, diversity, and inclusion. Beyond systems and compliance, I believe real results come from developing people. I’ve trained shop-floor technicians, mentored NSCC students, and supported Women Unlimited participants, building future talent pipelines and improving team engagement. Looking ahead, I’m focused on using AI, automation, and digital transformation to make manufacturing safer, smarter, and more sustainable. My goal is to keep building organizations that are not just more efficient, but also more resilient and future-ready.
