Posting daily receipts (wires/ACH/Lockbox) credit/memos on a timely basis. Research and resolve unapplied, misapplied, and unidentified cash receipts by contacting collections, and business partners to obtain remittance details. Identifying and manually tagging all customer remit discrepancies and short payments. Utilizing shared mailboxes and customer web portals to identify, retrieve remittance details. Ensure accurate account balances by identifying and resolving payment discrepancies, including short/over payments. Applying appropriate coding for all reconciling transactions. Assisting in R2R (Cash & Bank) team for unreconciled payment and open items. Perform payment transfers workflows on weekly basis or monthly basis so that it can be applied before month end, raise treasury support workflows for bank rejections and customer details. Maintain, prepare, and distribute daily and monthly reporting to supervisor and other stakeholders. Undertake tasks as requested by the Team Leader that may involve testing and process improvement. Handling wrong pocket project where I managed or helped collection team to identify missing payments and wrong pocket payments by taking regular follow ups with treasury team and with the cash team of the other entity on emails or by scheduling meetings. Ensure that all payments are applied end of the day without any delay.
