Our expertise lies in producing precision gear cutting tools such as Gear Hobs, Gear Shaper Cutters, Gear Shaving Cutters, Broaches, Master Gears, and Form Milling Cutters, supported by advanced CNC machinery and innovative production techniques. Capital Tool Industries (CTI) has manufactured precision gear-cutting tools since 1966. We serve global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers across automotive, aerospace, power transmission and heavy machinery with high-precision gear hobs, shaper cutters, power-skiving cutters and specialised finishing tools. Our engineering-first approach combines legacy craftsmanship with modern manufacturing to deliver repeatable accuracy, long tool life and measurable productivity gains.In recent years CTI has accelerated its international growth through strategic acquisitions — extending our product range, deepening technical expertise and improving customer proximity in Europe. In March 2023 we acquired Belgium-based Mico Tools (Mishalle NV), enhancing our power-skiving and gear-shaper capability. In September 2025 we completed the acquisition of Acedes Gear Tools (UK), further strengthening CTI’s European footprint and advanced tooling portfolio.
