Mohd Azam born and brought up in Moradabad, is a post-graduate in Operations Research from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. After MSc, he joined Shriram Transportation Finance Co. as a Product Executive for 2 years, in due course, he realized his inclination, as a professional, to do something more consequential for the larger section of the society, with a firm belief that every child gets quality education is the only solution to the host of problems that plague our society, he made a decision to contribute to education sector and he choose Gandhi fellowship, he built his capacity on learning experience for children and formed his idea of what constitutes a holistic quality education for child. Leveraging on his strength of data analysis, planning, team player, collaboration, and execution he designed and facilitated a workshop for 30 school teachers of Language and Mathematics and introduce teachers\' capacity-building tool TNAT (Teachers need analysis tool) & video-based feedback tool. He also has a keen interest in community mobilization and exploring diverse cultures and traditions.After completion of Gandhi fellowship, he joined Azim Premji Foundation to achieve his mission to create impact on 1 million lives, align with the vision and mission of Mr. Azim Premji, Towards a just, equitable, humane, and sustainable society. He is currently working as a teacher educator and responsible for around 3200 teachers of 1600 primary and upper primary schools in Tehri district, Uttarakhand.
