Responsible for site-level logistical operations including, inbound and outbound scheduling, goods issue to production, and safe and secure storage of Precursors.• Communicating regularly with customers and carriers to build and maintain long-term, trusted partnerships, acting as the main point of contact for questions, appointment times, delays, etc.• Managing of product returns from the point of customer request through to completion.• Assisting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer needs are fulfilled.• Efficiently matching available freight loads with available carrier options.• Coordinating incoming and outgoing delivery appointments for each day.• To build and track freight loads (FTL and LTL) in the Company’s ERP system (SAP & Infor Visual)• Communicating with the Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Production team on delivery status, order changes, and out-of-stock/low-stock inventory.• Keeping track of all safety incidents on the floor and reflecting on the changes required to avoid any accidents.• Working closely with the Planning team to identify and flag shipment risk of planned budgeted orders, especially month and quarter-end shipments for better financials.• Managing data in Power BI for better presentation and real-time info to deal with upcoming influx of skids into the warehouse.• Negotiating with trucking companies to select carriers and negotiate pricing to prepare quotes for clients.• Dealing with 3PL, saving cost on storage wherever possible.• To process US and Canadian paperwork required for importing bulk and components and for exporting finished goods.• Fulfilling Warehouse duties, including maintaining Forklifts PMs and safety inspections, creating a safe environment for all the workers.• Ensuring all applicable Health & Safety Management System policies and procedures and Environment (ISO 14001) Management System policies and procedures are followed.
