Design of static equipment: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, reactors, etc.Perform mechanical calculations using PV Elite, Compress, or manual methods.Ensure compliance with codes: ASME Section Div 1 & 2, TEMA, API 650.Prepare mechanical datasheets, technical specifications, and fabrication drawings.Review and approve vendor drawings and documents.Develop nozzle orientation plans, weld maps, and weight & CG calculations.Coordinate with process, piping, civil, and instrumentation disciplines.Generate material requisitions (MR) and perform technical bid evaluations (TBE).Assist procurement and inspection teams during vendor finalization and FAT.Support site/fabrication teams during manufacturing and erection stages.Conduct lifting, transportation, and erection studies (skirt loads, lugs, saddles).Check design for wind, seismic, blast, and external load conditions.Prepare and maintain calculation reports, technical queries (TQs), and deviation requests.Participate in HAZOPs, model reviews, and client design review meetings.Stay updated with the latest design codes, industry practices, and software tools.
