My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science (ZBC) where I developed a foundational understanding of zoology, botany, and chemistry—disciplines that shaped my scientific perspective on nature and life systems. This was followed by a Master’s degree in Environmental Science, which expanded my expertise into ecological systems, environmental challenges, and sustainable development practices.To enhance my understanding of risk management in the context of climate and environmental crises, I further pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PG-DDRM). This multi-disciplinary training provided me with practical knowledge of disaster preparedness, resilience building, and emergency response, especially in relation to vulnerable ecosystems and human communities.My current Ph.D. research focuses on understanding the impact of urbanization on the avian community, across urban, semi-urban, and rural gradients of Lucknow. This work involves field-based ecological data collection, habitat assessment, bird diversity analysis, and GIS-based mapping techniques. Through this study, I aim to contribute meaningful insights into how rapid urban growth is reshaping local biodiversity, particularly bird species, and what strategies can be adopted for conservation and urban planning.I am deeply passionate about biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, eco-restoration, and human-wildlife coexistence. I believe that environmental science is not just a field of study, but a responsibility—to bridge the gap between scientific research and community awareness. My goal is to use my knowledge to influence environmental policy, enhance disaster preparedness, and foster sustainable living models through both academic and field engagement.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am skilled in scientific writing, ecological surveying, GIS mapping, data analysis, and community-based environmental education. I am always open to collaborative research, inter-disciplinary projects, and opportunities to contribute toward the global environmental agenda.
